Germany Leads the Team Classification After the First Competition of the FEI Jumping World Championship Aachen 2026.

The host nation took command, and did so with three outstanding performances in the Main Stadium in Aachen.

Germany leads the team classification of the FEI Jumping World Championship Aachen 2026 with 3.48 accumulated penalties after the Turkish Airlines-Prize, the first competition of the championship designed by Frank Rothenberger (GER). Sophie Hinners with Iron Dames Singclair (0.84), Daniel Deusser with Otello de Guldenboom (0.86), and Marcus Ehning with Coolio, a 13-year-old bay Holsteiner gelding (Casalito x Quidam de Revel), on 1.78, with Richard Vogel and United Touch S, a 14-year-old bay Westphalian stallion (Untouched x Lux Z), as discard on 3.38 penalties. “All four performed brilliantly,” concluded chef d’équipe Otto Becker. “But what we said beforehand has been confirmed: it is all extremely close, both in the individual standings and among the teams.”

Belgium sits second with 3.69 penalties, Nicola Philippaerts with Katanga v/h Dingeshof (1.01), Pieter Devos with Casual DV Z, an 11-year-old bay Zangersheide mare (Cornet Obolensky x Cicero Z van Paemel), on 1.08, and Thibeau Spits with Impress-K van’t Kattenheye Z, an 11-year-old black Zangersheide stallion (Indoktro K van’t Kattenheye x Vagabond de la Pomme), on 1.60. Abdel Saïd with Wathnan Quaker Brimbelles Z, an 11-year-old bay Zangersheide gelding (Quicksilver St Simeon x Hickstead), as discard on 2.63 penalties.

The United States Third — Top Pan American Team

The United States sits third with 4.85 penalties, Laura Kraut with Baloutinue, a 16-year-old bay Hanoverian gelding (Balou du Rouet x Landor S), on 1.06, Lillie Keenan with Fasther, a 16-year-old chestnut KWPN gelding (Vigo d’Arsouilles STX x Farmer), on 1.17, and McLain Ward with High Star Hero, a 13-year-old bay SBS gelding (Zazu x Darco), on 2.62. Katherine Dinan and Out of the Blue SCF as discard on 10.91 penalties.

Great Britain fourth with 4.98, Scott Brash with Hello Mango (0.80), Ben Maher with Point Break (1.01), and Harry Charles with LT Holst Freda, a 12-year-old grey NZWB mare (Colman x Casall), on 3.17. Adrian Whiteway and Chacco Volo, a 13-year-old bay OS stallion (Chacco-Blue x Carthago), as discard on 6.46 penalties.

Italy and Ireland share seventh place with 7.69 penalties each. Israel ninth with 8.16, Mark Bluman with Landon de Nyze (0.95) and Daniel Bluman with Corbie VV, an 11-year-old grey Zangersheide mare (Cornet Obolensky x Chacco Blue), on 3.09. Saudi Arabia placed tenth with 8.26 penalties.
