Tracy Fenney Captures Eighth Summer Series Grand Prix as Samuel Parot Returns to the Podium in Ocala.

American rider Tracy Fenney continues to put together one of the most dominant campaigns of the U.S. summer season after winning Sunday’s $50,000 Alltech American Standard Grand Prix, the feature class closing Week IX of the 2026 Summer Series at World Equestrian Center – Ocala.

Riding the experienced 15-year-old Danish Warmblood grey mare MTM Apple (Favorit Ask x Willemoes), Fenney was the final rider to return for the jump-off. Taking full advantage of the mare’s speed and experience, she stopped the clock in 37.357 seconds.

“I know how fast Apple is, and she can do all of the tight angles. I figured I could have the time as long as I didn’t knock something down. She’s just so fast and so seasoned,” Fenney said after her winning round.

Course designer Catsy Cruz (USA) once again challenged the field in the WEC Grand Arena, with only five of the 25 starters producing fault-free first rounds to advance to the jump-off.

Representing Latin America, Samuel Parot (CHI) was the first rider back against the clock aboard the 13-year-old bay Zangersheide gelding Top Gun Z (Tobago Z x Ugano Sitte). His clear round in 39.181 seconds held the lead for most of the jump-off and ultimately secured another international podium finish, once again making him the highest-placed Latin American rider of the competition.

Fenney, however, still had one last opportunity.

After an unfortunate rail aboard MTM Can Talk To Me, the American returned with MTM Apple, a mare with whom she has built one of the strongest partnerships of the 2026 Summer Series. Her final effort was nearly two seconds faster than Parot’s, sealing her eighth Grand Prix victory of the circuit.

Fenney credited her outstanding summer to the increased number of horses she has been competing throughout the series.

“I think it’s because I have more horses, and I’m in the ring more. I’m seeing bigger jumps every day, and that’s been good for both me and the horses,” she said.
