Nine Grand Prix victories in one summer, and Tracy Fenney closed them in the only way she knows: going for it.
Tracy Fenney (USA) claimed the $150,000 LeMieux Grand Prix CSI3* 1.50m at the 2026 Summer Series Week X at World Equestrian Center Ocala, the closing of a historic summer circuit, designed by Leopoldo Palacios (VEN) with 35 combinations on course, 10 jump-off qualifiers and only 4 double clears. Fenney crossed the finish in 39.38 seconds, nearly six seconds faster than the previous leading time. “I was going through my head debating, ‘Should I just be normal and get a nice ribbon?’ Then I thought, ‘That’s not my style.’ My style is just to go for it.”
MTM Pablo is a 13-year-old bay Hanoverian gelding (Perigueux x Contendro I), owned by Davenport Farms, a horse that Fenney describes with admiration: “He just rises to the occasion every time. His feet are so fast, he just needs time to take into consideration that the jump is there. The nicer, slower and calmer I am, the better, because he does the speed part so quickly.”
Samuel Parot (CHI), No. 7 in the Tu Mundo Ecuestre Latin Show Jumping Ranking, came closest to Fenney, piloting Chrystal Blue, a 15-year-old bay OS gelding (Chacco-Blue x Calvaro F.C.) owned by Ilan Ferder, to a fault-free effort in 41.13 seconds to secure second place. Bliss Heers (USA) completed the podium with Christian’s Cash, an 11-year-old bay Holsteiner stallion (Christian 25 x Cash And Carry) owned by Bridgeside Farms LLC, in 45.26 seconds.
Anna Christina Gansauer (ECU), the first to post a double clear in the jump-off, finished fourth with Loyalton, a 10-year-old bay KWPN gelding (Carambole x Onze Fons Z) owned by Kandor Farm LLC, in 46.69 seconds. Richard Spooner (USA) rounded out the Top 5 with Lyjanair, a 12-year-old bay Holsteiner gelding (Lyjanero x Coriano) owned by Show Jumping Syndications Int’l, with 4 faults in 40.26 seconds.
