Kaitlin Campbell and Cosm Hesed Claim the $31,020 CSI2* Alliant Private Client Cup at the HITS Del Mar Summer Classic I 2026.

Kaitlin Campbell (ISR) clocked 35.10 seconds in the $31,020 CSI2* Alliant Private Client Cup at the HITS Del Mar Summer Classic I at the Grand Prix Grass Field of the HITS Del Mar Horsepark, designed by Tucker Williams (USA) and Peter Grant (CAN), with 37 combinations on course and 11 jump-off qualifiers, with nine nations represented in the field. Campbell was the pathfinder in the first round with Cloud, a 10-year-old black DSP gelding (Carleyle x Quiz) owned by SWS Training & Sales, setting the standard for the rest of the field. Last to return in the jump-off with Cosm Hesed, she knew exactly what was required. “It’s always a fortunate position to be last in a jump-off. I knew I just had to go as fast as possible and trust that my horse left the jumps up.”

Cosm Hesed is a 12-year-old grey Oldenburg gelding (Christian 25 x Lord Z Z), owned by Mirasol Equestrian LLC, a mount Campbell knows perfectly after almost two years together, previously campaigned through the five-star level by fellow American Kristen Vanderveen. “Everything you want in a speed horse, I had today. He’s very flexible over the jumps and has a really big stride on his own. The minute you tell him he can go, he’s just gone.”

Amanda Gomez (USA) finished second with Guibet P, a 12-year-old chestnut CZEWB gelding owned by Ferme Tandem, in a time of 35.28 seconds, posting what seemed an unbeatable time before Campbell entered the arena. Camilo Rueda (COL) completed the podium with Indus van het Keysereyck, an 18-year-old bay BWB gelding (Carabas vd Wateringhoeve x Nabab de Reve) owned by Rueda and Santiago Rueda Ucrós, in 35.58 seconds.

Cassio Rivetti (BRA) finished fourth with AGS Casallida, a 10-year-old bay Holsteiner mare (Casall ASK x Calido I) owned by Rivetti and Hidalgo LLC, in 35.99 seconds. Karl Cook (USA), No. 4 in the Tu Mundo Ecuestre Pan American Show Jumping Ranking, rounded out the Top 5 with Heroes Kervec, a 9-year-old bay SF gelding (Contendro GFE x Conrad) owned by Signe Ostby, in 36.10 seconds.

Latin & Pan American Presence

Amanda Gomez (USA) was the top Pan American performer in second place. Camilo Rueda (COL) was the top Latin finisher in third. Cassio Rivetti (BRA) fourth and Karl Cook (USA) fifth completed a strong regional presence in the Top 5. Daniel Anicet (BRA) was ninth in 40.31 seconds, Ángel Karolyi (VEN) twenty-fourth, and Guillermo Obligado (ARG) twenty-fifth.
