Laura Kraut (USA), No. 2 in the Tu Mundo Ecuestre Pan American Show Jumping Ranking, is the region’s greatest hope in the individual medal race at the FEI Jumping World Championship Aachen 2026, sitting seventh in the overall classification with 1.06 accumulated penalties after two perfect rounds with Baloutinue, a 16-year-old bay Hanoverian gelding (Balou du Rouet x Landor S) owned by St. Bride’s Farm. Just 0.26 penalties behind leader Scott Brash, Kraut has every option open ahead of Sunday’s LONGINES-Prize.

Lillie Keenan (USA), No. 6 in the Pan American Ranking, is the second Pan American rider in medal contention, in ninth place with 1.17 accumulated penalties with Fasther, a 16-year-old chestnut KWPN gelding (Vigo d’Arsouilles STX x Farmer) owned by Chansonette Farm LLC, another flawless round that confirms the extraordinary form of the American team in Aachen.

Team USA holds second place in the team classification with 4.85 accumulated penalties, just 1.37 faults behind Team Germany, with Laura Kraut, Lillie Keenan and Katherine Dinan delivering perfect rounds and McLain Ward as discard on 4 faults. Tonight’s second round of the Mercedes-Benz Prize will decide whether the Stars and Stripes step onto the team podium.
