The young Irishman saved his best for last, and Dublin erupted with emotion.

Tom Wachman (IRL) claimed the Gallagher Stakes CSIO5* 1.50m at the Gallagher Dublin Horse Show 2026, the third and final qualifier for Sunday’s Rolex Grand Prix of Ireland, with €56,800 in prize money. Wachman crossed the finish in 37.02 seconds, beating Natalie Dean by just 0.59 seconds, to claim the last Irish victory before Sunday’s showpiece.
