Jordan Coyle and King Kannan GP Clock the Fastest Time in the Sport Ireland Classic CSI5* at the Gallagher Dublin Horse Show 2026.

Ireland made the most of home advantage, and Jordan Coyle sealed it with the fastest time of the afternoon.

Jordan Coyle (IRL) clocked 65.49 seconds in the Sport Ireland Classic CSI5* 1.55m at the Gallagher Dublin Horse Show 2026, the first qualifier for Sunday’s Rolex Grand Prix of Ireland, designed by Alan Wade (IRL) with 55 combinations on course and €28,200 in prize money. Six Irish riders placed inside the Top 10, an extraordinary collective display of strength ahead of Friday’s Nations Cup for the Aga Khan Trophy.

King Kannan GP is an 11-year-old chestnut KWPN gelding (Kannan x Warrant), owned by Elan Farm.

Shane Sweetnam (IRL), current world No. 3 and recent winner of the Rolex Grand Prix of Falsterbo, completed his round in 66.97 seconds with Pia Maria H, an 11-year-old chestnut BWP mare (Kasanova de la Pomme x Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) owned by Seabrook LLC, to secure second place. Tom Wachman (IRL) sealed the all-Irish podium with Do It Easy, a 13-year-old bay SF gelding (Vigo Cece x Laeken) owned by Coolmore Showjumping, stopping the clock at 67.99 seconds.

Jörne Sprehe (GER) charged through the timers in 68.23 seconds with Toys, a 12-year-old bay Hanoverian stallion (Toulon x Quidam de Revel) owned by Gestüt Sprehe GmbH. Billy Twomey (IRL) closed the Top 5 with Ace of Hearts Z, a 10-year-old grey Zangersheide stallion (Action-Breaker x Labor’s VDL Indorado) owned by Twomey himself, in 68.47 seconds.

Karl Cook (USA), No. 4 in the Tu Mundo Ecuestre Pan American Show Jumping Ranking, was the top regional performer in eighth place in 69.27 seconds. Kyle Timm (CAN) was eleventh in 70.73 seconds; Yuri Mansur (BRA), former Tu Mundo Ecuestre Latin Ranking leader, seventeenth in 72.72 seconds. Laura Kraut (USA) twenty-fifth with 4 faults, Natalie Dean (USA) thirty-first with 4 faults, Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA) thirty-fifth with 4 faults and Paris Sellon (USA) thirty-ninth with 4 faults.
