The American heads the FEI World Show Jumping Ranking for a fourth consecutive month with 3,360 points, followed by Richard Vogel (GER) with 3,213 points in second place.
The month’s big movers
Shane Sweetnam (IRL) is the biggest winner among the top names, climbing two places to number 3 with 3,065 points, his best position of the year. Daniel Bluman (ISR) rises three places to number 6 with 2,737 points, an ascent that reflects his outstanding season on the North American circuit.
Daniel Deusser (GER) makes one of the month’s most notable comebacks, climbing six places to number 15 with 2,532 points, his July victories, including the CSI5* KASK Prize at LGCT Riesenbeck and the CSI4* Grand Prix Qualifier in Valkenswaard, earned him significant ground in the world standings.
The biggest leap of the month belongs to Pieter Devos (BEL), up nine places to number 19 with 2,396 points, returning to the Top 20 on the back of a remarkable run of results that culminated in his victory in the €500,000 Rolex Grand Prix Ville de Dinard, the fifth event of the Rolex Series, aboard Primo DV — the first horse he ever bred himself.
The month’s fallers
Scott Brash (GBR) and Ben Maher (GBR) continue to lose ground, another month of decline for both British riders as they slip further from the lead. Steve Guerdat (SUI), three-time Olympic medallist, drops four places to number 16 with 2,523 points.
Max Kühner (AUT) rises two places to number 18, perfectly timed with the FEI World Championships in Aachen just around the corner.
