Mexico surprised at Valkenswaard, and Carlos Hank Guerreiro led the field with a fast and untouchable jump-off round.

Carlos Hank Guerreiro (MEX) claimed the CSI4* 1.45m immediate jump-off at the Longines Tops International Arena Summer Showcase in Valkenswaard, designed by Uliano Vezzani (ITA), with 25 combinations on course, 9 qualifiers for the jump-off and €28,200 in prize money. Hank Guerreiro crossed the finish in 38.37 seconds to take the win.

H5 Ceylon Island is a 9-year-old grey Holsteiner gelding (Clarimo x Caretino), owned by H5 Sport Horses LLC, a young horse that delivered speed and precision on the demanding Dutch track.

Lisa Nooren-Garofalo (NED) finished second on home soil with Lewis PK, a 10-year-old bay KWPN gelding (Gaspahr x Durrant) owned by Piet and Pieter Keunen and Stal Hendrix, in a time of 39.64 seconds. Thibeau Spits (BEL) completed the podium with Jazzy des Dames, an 11-year-old bay SBS stallion (Emerald x Calvaro F.C.) owned by Haras des Dames, in 39.85 seconds.

Hasan Senturk (TUR) finished fourth with Avant Toi, a 16-year-old bay SF gelding (Flyinge Quite Easy x Narcos II) owned by TM2, in 40.02 seconds. Roelof Bril (NED) rounded out the Top 5 with Iberico, a 13-year-old bay KWPN stallion (Contendro I x Otangelo) owned by Stal Bril, in 43.54 seconds.
