Chile ruled at Tryon, and Samuel Parot did it with absolute authority.

Samuel Parot (CHI), No. 9 in the Tu Mundo Ecuestre Latin Show Jumping Ranking, claimed the $32,000 1.45m Two Phase CSI3* at the 2026 Tryon Summer 6, designed by Anna “Catsy” Cruz (MEX) with 13 combinations on course. Parot not only took the victory with Gradje O, but he also finished third with Chrystal Blue and sixth with another mount, completing a dominant presence on the scoreboard.

Gradje O is a 15-year-old grey KWPN gelding (Cardento 933 x Voltaire), owned by Parot himself. The veteran completed the second phase in 22.85 seconds to take the win.

David Blake (IRL) finished second with Gucci des Embruns, a 10-year-old grey Selle Français gelding (Malito de Reve x Fusain du Defey), registering 23.98 seconds in the second phase. Parot completed the podium in third with Chrystal Blue, a 15-year-old bay OS gelding  (Chacco-Blue x Calvaro F.C.), crossing the line in 24.14 seconds.

Latin & Pan American Presence

A dominant Latin victory for Samuel Parot (CHI), one-three-six on the same scoreboard. Nicolette Hirt (USA) was the top non-Latin Pan American finisher in fifth with Kaphira, an 11-year-old grey KWPN mare (Corland x Clearway), in 26.71 seconds. Juan Ortiz (VEN) finished eleventh with 4 faults in the first round, and Andrea Torres (COL), runner-up in the CSI3* Grand Prix the previous week at Tryon, twelfth with 8 faults.
